Welcome to Crochet with Chaos! I'm 21, and I'm passionate about the power of crochet to bring chaos to life. Here at Crochet with Chaos, I specialize in handmade crochet goods for people of all ages. From cozy baby blankets to fun fidget toys and plushies, we have something for everyone. Our unique touch of chaos ensures that each piece is one-of-a-kind and full of personality, just like you. Our team of talented ONE is dedicated to bringing your vision to life. Let us tell you a little bit about ourselves - I am a crochet enthusiast who turned my love of the craft into a business.

 

In 2020, I started knitting as a way to pass the time, as many of us needed a good hobby to focus on during unprecedented times. I started off with blankets for family members and kiddos I used to nanny.  

 

On an extra personal note; I was blessed to finish my Nana's blanket and give it to her, just three days before she had her stroke. The smile on her face is something I'll remember forever. Now, she gets to enjoy it in the sky as it is buried with her.

 

I continued my project of making blankets for my grandparents. Although I just barely missed the timing of seeing my Grandpa one last time, I know my Grandma takes comfort in having something that I made just special for him.

In 2022 when I was in the darkest times of my depression and living in a psychiatric facility, I continued this amazing hobby as a new form, my own personal form of therapy. In that time, I met this amazing woman who created these amazing fidget toys out of her yarn and a single crochet hook. She said she would show me how to create the fidgets if I could show her how to knit. We traded skills and although I can never thank her in person for her kindness, I will continue my creations in memory of one of the few good things that came out of that experience.

 

I continue to crochet as my form of therapy, and I cannot begin to express how much more beneficial it has been than the traditional therapies.

 

From family, to friends, to people I will never meet; knitting and crocheting brings me such a joy and happiness that is hard to describe.
